SayCheese Captures: Wedding Photography Website

SayCheese Captures is a fine-art documentary wedding photography and film studio based in Chennai, India. I designed and built their website and a custom admin panel so the team can manage all of the site’s content without a developer.

Photography sites live or die on image quality and speed. The studio has large galleries, wedding films, team profiles and testimonials, and it needed all of this to load fast on mobile and stay easy to update. It also needed a clear path from browsing to booking.

• Next.js frontend with optimised, lazy-loaded WebP images
• Custom admin panel for banners, galleries, team, films and blog
• Service pages: pre-wedding, wedding, maternity and kids photography
• Portfolio gallery and common gallery with paginated lightbox
• Films page with embedded YouTube wedding films
• Video testimonials and "Love Notes" testimonials page
• Journal (blog) managed from the admin panel
• Get a Quote form, click-to-call and WhatsApp enquiry button
• Separate desktop and mobile hero banners/video

Next.js, React, Laravel, MySQL, REST API, WebP

• Studio manages all content from one admin panel
• Fast-loading galleries on mobile and desktop
• Quote, call and WhatsApp actions on every page
